# Release and Handoff History

## Status

Current routing summary for historical release and prompt artifacts.

## Purpose

Keep chronological release history out of hot `.uai` memory while preserving prior WIP notes and handoff prompts for audit and recovery.

## Authoritative Current State

The current candidate is IARPG-OPS-2 2.0.11-wip. Its state is summarized in `.uai/progress.uai`, `.uai/versioning.uai`, and the current root release notes. Historical documents remain evidence of prior work, not current authority.

## Preserved Historical Locations

- Root `RELEASE-NOTES-IARPG-OPS-2-*.md` files are retained for packaging compatibility.
- Root `NEXT-PROMPT-IARPG-OPS-2-*.md` files are retained for handoff compatibility.
- `docs/project-prompts/` remains a historical publication collection controlled by the existing site packaging convention.
- Validation JSON and text files remain generated release evidence at their established paths.

These files were intentionally not moved because current deployment and handoff conventions reference them. They are indexed here as implementation history and do not supersede active `.uai` state.
