# Civilian Nuclear Events Archive

## Current Publication Contract

- `/nuclear-events` is the canonical public route for the non-bomb Civilian Nuclear Events Archive.
- The release corrects the publisher spelling to Michael Joseph Kappel and removes the detonation-only framing for the archive.
- The uploaded workbook and accident/effects report are preserved under `docs/source-files/civilian-nuclear-history-2026/` and remain individually addressable.
- The derived map contains 2964 coordinate-bearing records from the uploaded workbook and is exposed as `/nuclear-events-map-data.json`.
- Workbook coverage includes 804 power-reactor units, 374 sites, 1600 lifecycle events, 35 2024–2026 changes, 36 accident/incident records, 37 breakthroughs, 70 research reactors, and 77 fuel-cycle/waste records.
