Status

Current implementation report for IARPG-OPS-2 2.0.12-wip. The redesigned Start Here hero, source archive extraction, canonical report integration, public-content synthesis, bidirectional UAI routing, and local validation are part of this work-in-progress candidate. The source-derived research remains unverified until individual claims are checked against current primary or authoritative sources.

Purpose

Record why the original hero did not explain the product efficiently, how the replacement orientation visual works, how every member of the supplied 94-file archive was incorporated under /docs, how the research now informs public site content, and how active .uai memory routes to the detailed durable reports without duplicating their bodies.

Scope

This report covers the /start hero, related homepage and public research copy, the supplied Saudi Intelligence Security Apparatus.zip handoff, source and report manifests, the durable research catalog, .uai hot-memory summaries, the semantic pointer ledger, public UAI mirrors, local syntax and structure validation, and packaging boundaries. It does not independently verify every claim inside the supplied research, prove visitor comprehension, establish a live persistent MMO, or prove production-host, native-browser, assistive-technology, field-performance, or external search-engine behavior.

Executive Summary

The former Start Here hero devoted a large portion of the first viewport to a dark brand card that repeated the logo but did not help a first-time visitor understand how the site was organized. It was replaced with a responsive five-node orientation map linking directly to Game Concept, Missions, Create Missions, Standards, and Research. The center states the IARPG identity and the lower boundary states that the available product is a reference publication rather than a live persistent MMO.

The supplied archive was inspected as a container, then fully extracted. All 94 Markdown members are now individually addressable beneath docs/source-files/saudi-intelligence-security-apparatus/; the ZIP itself is not shipped. SHA-256 comparison found 64 exact duplicates of already preserved evidence and 30 new unique source bodies. Those 30 bodies now have canonical, report-template-compliant durable copies beneath docs/long-term-memory/reports/. Together with this implementation report, the canonical report inventory is 220, the preserved source inventory is 349, and the pointer ledger contains 229 authoritative durable documents.

The research is not isolated in an archive. /, /start, /global, /how-to-play, /docs/, and relevant economy, world, synthetic-source, and design surfaces now route visitors to the material that informs product identity, international institutional baselines, the intelligence cycle, NPC dignity and disclosure, economic systems, portal quality, accessibility, and local-inference architecture. Active .uai records contain concise current implications with section-level links to the durable bodies, while every new report links back through its Memory References section.

Evidence Reviewed

  • The supplied screenshot at /mnt/data/image.png, showing the original large brand-card hero treatment.
  • app/layout.php, start.php, index.php, global.php, how-to-play.php, economy.php, world.php, ai-missions.php, docs/index.php, and assets/css/site.css.
  • The supplied Saudi Intelligence Security Apparatus.zip: 94 Markdown members, SHA-256 9faa920b8b3cea96c42fb5f62bc4e66d389054142ffa0e46cfd2cb7561997b3d, 1,597,989 bytes.
  • Source-file manifest, canonical report manifest, source-to-report map, and provided-report intake audit.
  • Split-memory architecture, ADR-001, and the semantic pointer ledger.
  • Local PHP, JavaScript, Python, JSON, XML, documentation-link, checksum, source-integrity, accessibility-structure, discovery, onboarding, browser-fixture, and archive checks described below.

Findings

The original hero repeated identity without providing orientation

The screenshot shows that the dark right-side card consumed substantial first-screen area while repeating the logo already present in the site identity. Its three small readouts supplied status facts but did not answer the more urgent first-visit questions: where to learn the game concept, where to read missions, where to create, where standards live, and where the research is stored.

The new hero is an interactive site map

renderinternalhero() now supports an orientation visual variant used by /start. Five directly actionable nodes surround the IARPG core: Game Concept, Missions, Create Missions, Standards, and Research. The design uses semantic links rather than a decorative raster card, remains compact at desktop widths, collapses into a readable mobile sequence, preserves reduced-motion and forced-color behavior, and does not introduce another sticky surface. The centered .menu-strip remains the only sticky element.

Every archive member is present under /docs

All 94 files are stored individually under docs/source-files/saudi-intelligence-security-apparatus/. The source manifest records original name, byte length, SHA-256, collection, canonical report mapping, duplicate status, and public source URL. Container metadata is retained for provenance, while the nested ZIP is deliberately excluded from deployment.

Duplicate evidence was preserved without multiplying canonical bodies

Sixty-four archive members were byte-identical to sources already present in earlier collections. They remain individually addressable as evidence, but map to the existing canonical reports rather than creating conflicting duplicate report bodies. Thirty unique members received new canonical reports. This preserves the complete handoff inventory and recorded package-member provenance while keeping one canonical durable body per distinct report route. Ninety-three latest-collection public copies remain byte-identical; one public copy is explicitly security-sanitized as documented below.

New reports follow the durable template and truth boundary

Every new source-derived report includes Status, Purpose, Scope, Executive Summary, Evidence Reviewed, Findings, Decisions or Recommendations, Risks and Limitations, Validation Performed, Memory References, Related Durable Documents, and Supersession Status. The exact source is linked with its checksum. The report state is current as a repository artifact while the research review status remains unverified.

Public content now uses the research as supporting depth

The homepage and Start Here guide expose a research-integration layer rather than leaving reports only in the archive. The Global Intelligence Atlas links dedicated country baselines, including Saudi Arabia, while stating that an archive name is provenance rather than a claim that every member concerns that country. The How to Play page links each intelligence-cycle stage to supporting research. Operational resources, operational geography, synthetic sources, and the public docs front door route to relevant economic, spatial, NPC, accessibility, governance, portal, and local-inference reports.

UAI memory and durable reports are bidirectionally connected

The 30 new source-derived reports link back to the applicable hot-memory records. Those same .uai records now contain a compact Current Durable Research Routes section with links to the report #findings sections. .uai/index.uai, .uai/progress.uai, .uai/architecture.uai, .uai/memory.uai, .uai/ui-shell.uai, .uai/research-index.uai, .uai/source-map.uai, and .uai/source-provenance.uai summarize the active implementation and route to this report and the research audits. .uai/long-term-memory.uai remains pointer-only.

Decisions or Recommendations

  1. Keep the Start Here hero focused on orientation rather than another large brand repetition.
  2. Treat the supplied archive name as provenance metadata, not as the subject label for every contained report.
  3. Preserve exact duplicate source files, but never create competing canonical report bodies for identical content.
  4. Keep all source-derived claims unverified until reviewed against current primary or authoritative sources.
  5. Continue routing public pages to selected high-value report sections while keeping /docs/ as the complete inventory.
  6. Keep active .uai memory concise: summarize current implications and link to durable bodies instead of copying research prose.

Risks and Limitations

  • The source archive contains broad material spanning international institutions, portal design, game systems, mental-health representation, AI governance, and software architecture. Archive membership alone does not establish subject relevance or factual reliability.
  • One source contained a temporary AWS signed URL. Credential-like query material was removed before public packaging; the original package-member checksum remains in provenance metadata without retaining the secret-like value.
  • Several reports contain legal, clinical, market, product, vendor, or current-policy claims that may be stale, incomplete, or unsupported. Their manifest and pointer records therefore remain unverified.
  • The orientation hero has deterministic structural and managed fixture evidence, but no moderated first-time-visitor study proves that it improves comprehension.
  • Managed browser policy blocks unrestricted local HTTP navigation; static page-content fixtures do not substitute for native production navigation.
  • Native Firefox, native screen-reader speech output, an externally reachable production edge, field Core Web Vitals, and host-owned search/crawler evidence remain open.

Validation Performed

The completed working tree passed the following current-candidate checks before flat packaging:

  • 90 of 90 PHP files, 6 of 6 JavaScript files, and 10 of 10 Python validators passed syntax or compilation checks.
  • 326 of 326 JSON files, 3 of 3 XML files, 64 of 64 local-schema records, and all 20 IARPG-CJSON-1 vectors passed.
  • All 349 source files passed manifest path, byte-length, SHA-256, and canonical-report routing checks. The latest collection passed at 94 of 94 files, including 64 exact duplicate evidence records, 30 unique canonical inputs, and the single documented security-sanitization exception. All 38 separately supplied reports hash-matched preserved source records.
  • Split-memory validation passed with 95 active UAI records, 95 byte-identical public mirrors, 220 canonical reports, 229 authoritative durable documents and pointer records, 4,288 local links, and 2,776 heading anchors.
  • Discoverability passed with 369 canonical sitemap routes, 835 search records, and 32 visible, structured, and machine-identical answers.
  • Deterministic site-identity checks passed 24 of 24; onboarding task routing passed 15 of 15; managed Chromium fixtures passed 15 of 15; isolated Apache staging passed 22 of 22; and the controlled local production-edge aggregate passed 59 of 59.
  • Structural accessibility inspected 89 HTML routes with zero findings. Local delivery budgets passed 10 of 10. All 869 documentation checksums and 4 partner-artwork records verified.
  • The redesigned hero was visually inspected at desktop, tablet, mobile, and dark-theme states. It remained readable, linearized cleanly on narrow screens, preserved the current/future boundary, and introduced no second sticky surface.
  • The final flat ZIP, fresh-extraction byte comparison, nested-archive scan, unzip -t, and external SHA-256 verification are recorded in the root 2.0.12 validation artifacts because the archive digest cannot be embedded in the archive without self-reference.

These checks establish repository and controlled-lab consistency. They do not verify the external factual claims in source-derived reports, representative human comprehension, unrestricted native browser behavior, native assistive-technology speech output, an externally reachable production edge, field Core Web Vitals, or live search-engine indexing and citation.

Supersession Status

Current for the 2.0.12-wip hero, source-integration, public-content, and memory-routing implementation. Later reports may supersede individual UI or research-routing decisions, but they must preserve the source files, canonical mappings, active .uai startup role, and documented truth boundaries unless a reviewed architecture decision says otherwise.
